A second-generation West Indian based in London, who's career has been closely associated with the Black UK arts movement. My chosen narrative is very much centered around the Black body, using it as a muse to explore traditional notions of African culture and their place in today's world.

About their Work
Within my paintings I re-examines universal themes through the Black figure drawing from ancient mythological stories that still have relevance today. Exploring these themes I play with the representation of ideas onto which hold meaning layering these motifs and symbols allow viewer to interrogate what we believe.
