About
I am an artist who aims to inspire communities and uplift the heroism of everyday people through colorful and boldly rendered murals and mosaics. I am particularly committed to the South Central Los Angeles area where I grew up; my Heart of Hyde Park mural in the Crenshaw District and Gateway to Greatness mural in Exposition Park are among my best-known public artworks. I have partnered with corporations, sports teams, nonprofit organizations, and schools across the country to create positive impact through public art and community outreach. I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2000. In 2021, I was chosen as one of the inaugural artists to participate in “In the Paint,” a competitive fine art program launched by the LA Lakers to recognize and support the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) artist community in Los Angeles. I'm currently working on the Metro/UCLA train station artwork for Metro Los Angeles.

About their Work
As an artist from South Central Los Angeles, I strive to create impactful large scale murals and mosaics as well as personal fine art works which tell the story of community heroes, activists and every day folks. I create images which are themed around social justice and the spiritual, highlighting the heroism and power of those who are ignored or marginalized.
