ADAMA Celebrates the Legacy of Dr. Pellom McDaniels, III: Artist, Athlete, and Scholar

The African Diaspora Art Museum of Atlanta (ADAMA is proud to announce the opening of a unique art exhibition dedicated to the multifaceted life and works of Dr. Pellom McDaniels, III. An accomplished athlete, scholar, poet, and curator, McDaniels also thrived as an artist, capturing complex themes through his diverse creative expressions. This exhibition, titled "A Shield Against Darkness: The Art and Scholarship of Pellom McDaniels III," curated by Dr. Fahamu Pecou and Clint Fluker, Ph.D. offers an unprecedented look at his artistic endeavors that span several decades. This exhibition celebrates the dynamic legacy of Dr. Pellom McDaniels, III, whose life's work crossed the realms of sports, scholarship, poetry, and visual art.
