My name is Antonia and i'm an artist based in Berlin. I graduated in 2020 at Art Academy Berlin Weißensee.
About Her Work
In my works i mainly deal with the mental, the invisible. I translate phenomena of the human psyche as well as spiritual themes into delicate abstract drawings. Topics i already worked on are for example nightmares or the process of memory. Another theme to which i devote myself concerns the seemingly ordinary. I abstract and deconstruct apparent reality and transcribe my work into my own aesthetic language. The attempt to understand is at the forefront of my work. The main source of inspiration is my environment. The combination of organic and geometric forms in my work create a strong poetic position. I work mainly with coloured pencils on paper, sometimes i also combining them with acrylic paints. In the exhibition context my works are often accompanied by subtle sound recordings, which i record myself. Thus i like to open up yet another layer in my works, acoustic drawings emerge.
